DATE INTRODUCED: 1 -17 -85 ORDINANCE NO. 85 -7 AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A REVISED 1985 BUDGET FOR THE FEDERAL SHARED REVENUE FUND FOR THE PURPOSE OF REAP - PROPRIATING UNEXPENDED 1984 FUNDS TO COMPLETE REPAIRS TO THE COURTHOUSE NORTH WING ROOF, FOR INSTALLATION OF PLUMBING FIXTURES AND ELECTRIC LOCKS IN THE COURT- HOUSE JUVENILE DETENTION FACILITY, AND FOR COMPLETION OF A MAP MURAL IN THE COURTHOUSE COUNCIL CHAMBERS. WHEREAS, Whatcom County did undertake in 1984 several Courthouse impro- vement projects; specifically to repair the north wing roof, to install new plumbing fixtures and electric locks in the Juvenile Detention facility, and to install a map mural in the Council Chambers; and WHEREAS, these projects were uncompleted by the end of the calendar year of 1984; and WHEREAS, funds appropriated in 1984 for the above -named projects were not expended in 1984, and those appropriations expired at the end of that calendar year; and WHEREAS, Whatcom County still desires to undertake said Courthouse improvement projects; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Federal Shared Revenue Fund 1985 budget be amended as follows: FEDERAL SHARED REVENUE FUND 199- 000 -034 RESOURCES 501- 00 -00 -00 Ending Fund Balance $ 459,812.00 TOTAL RESOURCES $ 45,812.00 EXPENDITURES 519- 50 -62 -00 Buildings $ 459812.00 TOTAL EXPENDITURES $ 45,812.00 ORDINANCE - 1.
