ORDINANCE NO. 85 -6
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE MATTER OF
PLACING STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTION
OF NORTH PASS ROAD AND MINAKER ROAD
WHEREAS, IN COMPLIANCE WITH RCW 46.61.100 it is found necessary and expe-
dient to place traffic control signs on certain county roads; and
WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
office; and it was found that conditions warrant intersection control modifica-
tion.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that intersectional traffic control be
modified at the intersection of North Pass Road and Minaker Road, Sections 11
and 14, Township 40 North, Range 4 East, W.M., as follows:
1) The existing Stop sign westbound on Minaker Road at North Pass Road
shall remain in place;
2) Stop signs shall be installed northbound and southbound on North Pass
Road at Minaker Road.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer be and hereby directed to
post the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the
Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code
Section 10.16.
