AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING A 1985 BUDGET FOR THE
REFERENDUM 37 CONSTRUCTION FUND
WHEREAS, Whatcom County has undertaken a construction project of capi-
tal improvements at the Workshop Training Center, known as Project No. 341, and
funded in whole by a Referendum 37 grant from the State Department of Social and
health Services; and,
WHEREAS, this project was begun in 1984 but was uncompleted at the end
of that year; and
WHEREAS, appropriations for the costs of Project No. 341 within the
Referendum 37 Construction Fund lapsed at the end of the calendar year 1984; and
WHEREAS, no provision was made within the general Whatcom County budget
adopted for 1985 for the costs to the Referendum 37 Construction Fund to
complete Project No. 341;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that a 1985 budget for the Referendum 37
Construction Fund be established as follows:
