ORDINANCE NO. 86 -100
AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE
WHATCON COUNTY CURRENT EXPENSE FUND:
PUBLIC DEFENDER'S BUDGET THEREIN
WHEREAS: Robert S. Jones, Deputy II Public Defender, has submitted
his resignation effective December 1, 1986; and,
WHEREAS: as a result of Mr. Jones' resignation the Public
Defender's Office will incur payout expenses for his vacation and
sick leave in the amount of $5,795.12 and $414.35 for social
security, for a total payout amount of $6,209.47; and,
WHEREAS, the Public Defender's Office was unable to anticipate the
above expenditure and said amount may cause the Public Defender's
year end balance to exceed its 1986 budgetary allocation;
NOW: THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED, the 1986 Whatcom County Current
Expense Fund, Public Defender's budget therein, is hereby revised
as follows:
