ORDINANCE NO. 86 -92
AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH SPEED LIMITS ON ROADWAYS
WITHIN THE GLACIER SPRINGS PLAT, DIVISIONS 1, 2 and 3.
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under R.C.W. 46.61.415 t
establish speed limits on County roads; and
WHEREAS, an engineering and traffic investigation was conducted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the speed limit be set at 25 miles per
hour on all roadways within the Glacier Springs Plats, Divisions 1, 2, and 3.
Section 35, Township 40 North, Range 6 East, W. M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer be and hereby directed to
post the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the
Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code
Section 10.04.030.
