HomeMy WebLinkAboutord1986-08111 21 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13, 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 INTRODUCED BY: WARNER PROPOSED BY: County Executive DATE: November 6, 1986 ORDINANCE NO. 86 -81 AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE 1986 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND, SHERIFF'S BUDGET THEREIN WHEREAS, the County and the General Teamsters Local No. 231 "Deputy Sheriff's" Bargaining Unit attempted to negotiate a contract for the period of January of 1985 through December of 1987; and WHEREAS, several issues remained unresolved and the parties resorted to binding arbitration as required by law; and WHEREAS, the arbitration award for a 3% base increase in salaries effective July 1, 1985 requires a retroactive payment to the members of the union for services rendered since that date; and WHEREAS, an emergency exists in that the arbitration award should be paid with the November payroll; and WHEREAS, the County must honor the binding arbitration award; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED the 1986 Current Expense Fund, Sheriff's budget therein, is hereby revised as follows: 1986 Current Expense Fund, Sheriff's budget Resources: 00120- 501.00.00.0000 Ending Fund Balance $72,273 Appropriation Enhancements: r4J 00290 - 521.10.11.0200 Undersheriff 1,818 0300 Chief Criminal Deputy 474 0400 Chief Civil Deputy 1,704 20.0100 Retirement 292 0200 Social Security 286 00291 - 521.21.11.1500 Sergeant - Investigations 1,848 1600 Deputy - Investigations 1,422 1700 Deputy - Investigations 1,315 1800 Deputy - Investigations 1,542 1900 Fire Inspector 1,662 2100 I.D.
