ORDINANCE NO. 86 -71
AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE
THE 1986 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND
PLANNING DEPARTMENT BUDGET THEREIN
WHEREAS, The Lake Whatcom Watershed Management Grant contract from
the State Department of Ecology was awarded to URS Engineers; and,
WHEREAS, The County and the DOE determined the contract product
being the watershed management plan was incomplete; and,
WHEREAS, the retainage in an amount of $5,995 has been withheld
from the original contractor; and,
WHEREAS, the State DOE has withheld $16,000 until the final plan
is completed; and,
WHEREAS, the County and DOE have determined that the Western
Washington University's Institute for Freshwater Studies could
complete the original work program through contract;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, the 1986 Current Expense Fund,
Planning Department budget therein is revised as follows:
