ORDINANCE NO. 86 -64
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING RATE INCREASE
GRANTED TO DELTA COMMUNICATIONS
NOW KNOWN AS GUINESS COMMUNICATIONS
WHEREAS, when the Whatcom County Council allowed the rate
increase to go into effect from Ten ($10.00) Dollars Canadian to
Ten ($10.00) Dollars U.S. the Council believed that everyone
serviced by the company could actually receive the basi6,
services; and,
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Whatcom
County Council that in fact some subscribers are unable to
receive the services because of the condition of their
television; and,
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council expected and expects
that the company would supply all equipment necessary for the
subscriber to receive the basic services for the Ten ($10.00)
Dollar fee per month;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the rate allowed to
be charged by Guiness Communications shall be amended to Ten
($10.00) Dollars Canadian rather than Ten ($10.00) Dollars U.S.
