A SUBSTITUTE ORDINANCE TO REVISE
'THE 1986 WHATCOM COUNTY CURRENT EXPENSE
FUND PROSECUTING ATTORNEY
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act, R.C.W. 39.34
Whatcom County entered into an Agreement retroactive to October 1,
1985, with the Department of Social and Health Services to provide
various child support services through the Prosecuting Attorney's
Office;
WHEREAS, the Department of Social and Health Services approved
Whatcom County's 1986 Budget for financial reimbursement for Child
Support Enforcement Services on May 20, 1986, in the aggregate sum
of $98,445.00;
WHEREAS, Whatcom County resubmitted, pursuant to instructions from
the Department of Social and Health Services dated May 20, 1986, an
enhanced budget request in the aggregate sum of $120,894.00, for
which written approval was to have been received on August 7, 1986;
WHEREAS, the resubmitted budget,as approved by the Department of
Social and Health Services, provides funding in excess of the
current appropriations for the Whatcom County Prosecutor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the 1986 Current Expense Fund
Prosecuting Attorney's Budget therein is hereby revised as follows:
