ORDINANCE NO. 86 -53
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FEE FOR RECORDING CORNER
MONUMENT INFORMATION
WHEREAS, Notice of Surveys as well as Corner Monument
Documents are required to be filed with the Auditor; and,
WHEREAS, the Auditor is required to certify these documents;
and,
WHEREAS, the Revised Code of Washington 58.09.100 allows the
County Council to set a fee for the recording of Corner
Monuments; and,
WHEREAS, the fee for this service should be equal to the fee
charged for filing a one (1) page deed which is Five ($5.00)
Dollars.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Whatcom County Code
shall be amended by creating a new section entitled 3.50 which
shall read as follows:
