5 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE WHATCOM COUNTY ROAD
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 6 FUND BUDGET TO
6 PROVIDE APPROPRIATION AUTHORITY TO PAY WHATCOM
COUNTY ROAD FUND FOR THE COSTS OF IMPROVEMENTS
7 IN ROAD IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 6
8 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 83 -49, adopted on October 20, 1983,
9 the County Council of Whatcom County established Road Improvement District No. 6
10 Fund (RID #6 Fund) for the purpose of paying costs to replace a seawall on
11 Bayview Drive in Point Roberts; and
12 WHEREAS, the costs of the project have heretofore been paid from
13. County Road Fund; and
14 WHEREAS, the RID #6 Fund has resources available to pay the Road Fund;
15 and
16 WHEREAS, the 1986 RID #6 Fund budget does not have sufficient
17 appropriation authority to pay the County Road Fund for the cost of the replace -
18 ment Bayview Drive seawall;
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Whatcom County Road Improvement
20 District No. 6 Fund budget be amended as follows:
