ORDINANCE NO.-86-48
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1986 BUDGET FOR THE
REFERENDUM 37 CONSTRUCTION FUND FOR THE PURPOSE
OF PROVIDING CAPITAL EQUIPMENT AND IMPROVEMENTS
TO THE WHATCOM COUNSELING AND PSYCHIATRIC CLINIC.
WHEREAS, Whatcom County Council Resolution No. 84 -33 provides that
Whatcom County will act as a Referendum 37 (Project 345) sponsor for the Whatcoi
Counseling and Psychiatric Clinic to purchase a refrigerator and stoves through
Referendum 37 grant funding; and
WHEREAS, all state grant monies for Referendum 37 construction and
capital acquisition projects are to be received and expended by the Referendum
37 Construction Fund No. 322; and
WHEREAS, Referendum 37 (Project 345) was originally anticipated to be
100% funded and was subsequently determined to be only 85.6% funded for the
purchase of appliances and construction improvements; and
WHEREAS, Whatcom Counseling and Psychiatric Clinic has agreed to fund
14.4% of Referendum 37 (Project 345); and
WHEREAS, the 1986 Referendum 37 Construction Fund budget lacks suf-
ficient appropriation authority to expend monies received on behalf of said
projects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the 1986 Referendum 37 Constructior
Fund budget be amended as follows:
