ORDINANCE REPEALING WHATCOM COUNTY
CODE SECTION 2.40.100 WHICH ADOPTS
THE STATE PERSONNEL BOARD AS THE
CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION FOR THE
EMERGENCY SERVICES .17PARTMENT.
WHEREAS, Whatcom County Code Section 2.40.100 adopts the
State Personnel Board as the designated Civil Service Commission
for the Whatcom County Emergency Services Department; and
WHEREAS, this program is no longer in existence; the State
dropped it about four years ago; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council feels that it is
appropriate since this program is no longer in existence to
repeal this code; and
WHEREAS, presently the Emergency Services Department is
maintaining its own personnel procedure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that Whatcom County Code
Section 2.40.100 shall be repealed in its entirety as follows:
