ORDINANCE NO. 86-24
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING THE PLACING OF
STOP SIGNS AT THE INTERSECTION OF NORTH
PASS ROAD AND MINAKER ROAD.
WHEREAS, IN COMPLIANCE WITH RCW 46.61.100 and RCW 47.36.110 found necessar,
and expedient to place traffic control signs on certain county roads; and
WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
office; and it was found that various locations warrant intersection control
modification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that intersectional traffic control be
modified at the following location:
1) The existing stop sign westbound on Minaker Road, at the North Pass
Road, and northboxmd on the North Pass Road, at the Minaker Road,
shall remain in place.
2) The existing stop sign southbound on the North Pass Road, at the
Minaker Road shall be removed.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer be and hereby directed to
post the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the
Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this Ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code
Section 10.16.
