AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTERS 20.80 AND 2.24.270
OF THE WHATCOM COUNTY CODE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that Chapter 20.80 of
the Whatcom County Code be amended as follows:
20.80.282 - AericulODre_D1zixict
The fifty (50) foot front yard setback requirement
for new buildings or additions may be waived if the zoning ad-
ministrator finds that the new buildings or additions are located
along the same building line(s) of existing structures and result
in no additional encroachment; and that the public interest,
safety and health are protected-;. and bhe a_ppl-i -cant amsx demvta-

Provided, that for a new building the applicant shall
also demonstrate that the proposed location is necessary for the
economic viability and the continued operation of the agricul-
tural use.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that Section
2.24.270, be amended as follows:
