ORDINANCE NO. 86 -11
ORDINANCE INCREASING THE WHATCOM
COUNTY PARK AND RECREATION BOARD'S
SMALL CHANGE FUND.
WHEREAS, since June S, 1980, the Whatcom County Park and
Recreation Board's Small Change Fund has been in the amount of
One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00); and
WHEREAS, in recent times there has been an increased use of
the Board's Small Change Fund for expenses such as ferry fees,
ski lift tickets, entrance fees, parking fees, lodging expenses,
etc.; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed advisable by the Whatcom County Council
to increase the Whatcom County Park and Recreation Board's Small
Change Fund to a new total amount of One Thousand Two Hundred
Dollars ($1,200.00), and that the County Treasurer be authorized
to issue a warrant in the amount of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00)
for the revision of this fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the Whatcom County
Treasurer is hereby authorized to issue a warrant in the amount
of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00), for the revision of this fund.
