ORDINANCE NO. 87 -86
AN ORDINANCE TO ESTABLISH THE
WHATCOM COUNTY DRUG TASK FORCE
FUND, A RELATED REVOLVING ACCOUNT
AND THE 1988 APPROPRIATION THEREFOR
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Sheriff has applied for and recieved a
federal indirect grant from the Bureau of Justice Assistance for
the establishment of a multijurisdictional drug task force; and,
WHEREAS# the County must establish a fund and provide an appro-
priation therein to allow for the receipt and expenditure of said
grant monies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the Drug Task Force Fund is hereby
established as a special revenue fund, being fund number 150, and
the 1988 appropriation therefor is approved at $285,753 and the
budget plan is adopted as follows:

is authorized
to issue a treasurer's
check in the amount of $10,000
to establish
the Drug Task Force
Revolving Account to act as
a drug "buy" fund.
The custodian of the
account will be the Whatcom
County Sheriff.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED,
Ordinance 87 -80, is
hereby revised by
adding the Drug Task
Force Fund with an appropriation
of $285,753.
