ORDINANCE NO. 87 -77
AN ORDINANCE TO TERMINATE CERTAIN
COUNTY FUNDS AND TO PROVIDE FOR THE
DISPOSITION OF THEIR ASSETS
Executive
WHEREAS, a number of County funds have been established for a
variety of purposes; and,
WHEREAS, certain of these funds are no longer required since the
functions they once financed are no longer necessary; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the County to terminate these no
longer needed funds to reduce the complexity of the fund
structure;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the following County funds are
hereby terminated effective December 31, 1987:
(1) The County Farm Fund, number 10200, with the assets being
transferred to the Building Maintenance Fund, number 50500;
(2) The Human Services Emergency Contingency Fund, number 14700,
with the assets being transferred to the Current Expense Fund;
(3) The 1966 Park G.O. Bond Fund, number 20300, with the remaining
assets being transferred to the Park and Recreation Fund, number
10600;
(4) The Park Acquisition and Improvement Fund, number 30300;
(5) The Cumulative Reserve Fund, number 30800, with the remaining
assets being transferred to the Physical Plant and Capital
Facilities Fund, number 32800
(6) The Referendum 37 Construction Fund, number 32200;
