ORDINANCE NO. 87-57
AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE 1987 CURRENT
EXPENSE FUND, CLERKS APPROPRIATION THEREIN
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Clerk of the Superior Court has
tendered her resignation effective September 30, 1987; and,
WHEREAS, the 1987 Clerk's budget did not anticipate this
retirement and the associated severance pay required; and,
WHEREAS, the Clerk's position will be refilled in a timely fashion
and the County does not fund future severance pay obligations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, the 1987 Current Expense Fund,
Clerk's budget plan therein is hereby revised as follows:

Subtotal Enhancements $7,391
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, Ordinance. 86 -89 is hereby revised to
increase the Current Expense Fund, Clerk's appropriation therein
by $7,391.
