HomeMy WebLinkAboutord1987-0561 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 COURTSUP.987 INTRODUCED BY: CONSENT PROPOSED BY: Hansey /Roehl DATE: SEPTEMBER 17, 1987 ORDINANCE NO. 87 -56 AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE 1987 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND APPROPRIATION DISTRICT AND SUPERIOR COURTS BUDGETS THEREIN WHEREAS, the state Citizens' Commission on Salaries for Elected Officials filed the required salary schedules with the Secretary of State on June 1, 1987; and, WHEREAS, salaries for District Court and Superior Court judges have been increased by over 14% effective September 1, 1987 and will be increased again on July 1, 1988; and, WHEREAS, the County must pay these mandated salary increases set by the state; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the 1987 Current Expense Fund, District Court and Superior Court budgets therein are hereby revised as follows: Resources: 00120 - 291.80.00 Estimated Ending Fund Balance $ 10,368 Budget Plan Enhancements: 00130-512.40.11.01 Judge salary $ 2,700 .02 Judge salary 2,700 .20.01 Retirement 331 .02 Social Security 387 Subtotal District Court $ 6,118 00310 - 512.20.11.01 Superior Court Judges' salaries $ 4,250 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, Ordinance 86 -89 is hereby revised by increasing the appropriation authority in the Current Expense Fund for District Court by $6,118 and Superior Court by $4,250.
