ORDINANCE NO. 87 -53
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE MATTER OF
PLACING STOP SIGNS ON TRAILS END ROAD
AND BIRCH TERRACE PLACE
WHEREAS, IN COMPLIANCE WITH RCW 46.61.200 and RCW 47.37.1109 it is found
necessary and expedient to place traffic control signs on certain county roads;
and
WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
office;.and it was found that various locations warrant intersection control
modification.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that intersectional traffic control be
modified at the following locations:
1) Install a Stop sign northbound on Birch Terrace Place at Birch Terrace
Drive, Section 22, Township 40 North, Range 1 East. W.M.
2) Install a Stop sign southbound on Trails End Road at Loomis Trail
Road, Section 14, Township 40 North, Range 2 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to post
the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington
State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code
Section 10.16.
