AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE 1987
CURRENT EXPENSE FUND, PUBLIC
DEFENDERS APPROPRIATION THEREIN
ORDINANCE NO. 87 -49
WHEREAS, the Public Defender has an obligation to defend those
indigents that are charges with criminal acts; and,
WHEREAS, the professional services line item in the detail budget
plan will be depleted in a short period of time because of the
unprecedented number of serious felony cases in 1987; and,
WHEREAS, it is the County's intent to adequately defend indigents
which will require an additional amount of appropriation authority
in 1987;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that' the 1987 Current Expense Fund
Budget, Public Defender's appropriation therein, is hereby revised
as follows:
Resources:
00120 - 291.80.00 Estimated Ending Fund Balance $10,000
Detail Budget Plan Enhancement:
00265- 515.21.41 Professional Services $10,000
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, ordinance 86 -89 is hereby revised by
increasing the. appropriation authority for the Current Expense
Fund, Public Defenders budget therein, by $10,000.
