ORDINANCE NO.
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO REVISE
THE 1988 NOR -BELL CARE CENTER FUND,
APPROPRIATION THEREIN
WHEREAS, the Nor -Bell Care Center Fund's appropriation is
insufficient to pay current obligations; and,
WHEREAS, the current obligations are legitimate claims on the County
due in 1988; and,
WHEREAS, an emergency exists in that there is insufficient time
before years end to follow the regular ordinance introduction and
passage schedule, since the last regularly scheduled Council meeting
has been held;
INOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, the 1988 Nor -Bell Care Center Fund,
budget plan therein is hereby revised as follows:

Budget Plan Enhancements:
10306 - 561 -29 -11 -0100 Administrator Salary 8 1,883
10306 - 561 -29 -49 -0000 Miscellaneous (Fine) 12,135
10301 - 561 -22 -41 -0000 Professional Srvcs. -Nurs. 3,426
TOTAL ENHANCEMENTS 817,444
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, ordinance 87 -80 is hereby amended by adding
$17,444 in appropriation authority to the Nor -Bell Care Center Fund,
budget therein.
I IBE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, an emergency does exist and this ordinance
shall become effective immediately upon passage and approval by the
Executive; further, the Whatcom County Council finds that this

ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the publi�
peace, health, safety and /or support of the government.
