ORDINANCE NO. 88 -105
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE 1988
COUNTY SUPPLY FUND APPROPRIATION
WHEREAS, the County Supply Fund is set up for various departmental
and agency usage, and,
WHEREAS, the anticipated costs of postage and supplies purchased by
the various departments and agencies, through the fund may exceed
the available appropriation; and,
WHEREAS, an emergency exists in that there is insufficient time
before year13 end to follow the regular ordinance introduction and
passage schedule, since this is the last Council meeting of the
year;
NOM, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the 1988 County Supply budget plan
is hereby revised as follows:
Resources:
50200 - 348.70.0100 Store Sales 810,000
Budget Plan Enhancement:
50201- 519.58.3400 Items for Resale 810,000
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED ordinance 87 -80 is hereby amended by adding
910,000 in appropriation authority to-the County Supply Fund;
HE IT FURTHER ORDAINED an emergency does exist and this ordinance
shall become effective immediately upon passage.and approval by the
Executive; further, the Whatcom County Council finds that this
ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
peace, health, safety and /or support of the government.
