ORDINANCE NO. 88 -99
AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE
1988 SOLID WASTE BUDGET
7 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 88 -17 authorized the administration to begin
8 the procedure for siting a new landfill; and
9 WHEREAS, the County Council approved Ordinance 88 -87, which provides
10 for the issuance of limited tax general obligation bonds for the cost of
11 planning, siting, acquiring, constructing and installing a solid waste landfill;
12 and
13. WHEREAS, Executive Order No. 88 -8 authorized the installation of moni-
14 Loring wells at the Cedarville landfill; and
15 WHEREAS, there is insufficient appropriation authority in the Solid
16 aste Fund 1988 budget to pay bonding attorney fees and to pay for the installa-
17 tion of ground water monitoring wells; and
18 WHEREAS, leachate production exceeded estimated volumes and additional
19 ppropriation authority is needed for transportation and treatment.
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the 1988 Solid Waste Fund budget is
21 iereby increased as follows:

27 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, Ordinance No. 87 -48 is hereby revised by
28 increasing the approporiation authority of the Solid Waste Fund budget therein
29 106,500.
