ORDINANCE NO. 88 -90
AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE
1988 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND,
PUBLIC DEFENDER'S APPROPRIATION THEREIN
WHEREAS, the Public Defender's office is responsible for providing
credible defense for indigent persons charged with crimes; and
WHEREAS, the planned allocation for professional services within
the Public Defender's budget did not anticipate the level of
homocide cases experienced to date; and
WHEREAS, the County must provide adequate defense services for the
indigent persons accused of crimes;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, the 1988 Current Expense Fund,
Public Defender's budget plan therein is hereby revised as
follows:
Resources:
00120 - 291.80.00.0000 Est. Ending Fund Balance $35,000
Budget Plan Enhancement:
00265 - 515.21.41.0000 Professional Services $35,000
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, Ordinance 87 -80 is hereby amended b
adding $10,000 to the Current Expense Fund, Public Defender'
appropriation therein.
