ORDINANCE NO. 88 -65
ORDINANCE AMENDING
WHATCOM COUNTY CODE 2.28 - PARR BOARD
WHEREAS, Whatcom County Code 2.28 establishing the Whatcom County
Park Board sets terms of office for six years; and,
WHEREAS, Whatcom County Charter 3.23 stipulates that the terms of
office for boards and commissions shall not be longer than four
years,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED Whatcom County Code is amended as
follows:
2.28.020 Membership
The Park Board shall be composed of seven members, who shall be

districts and one member shall be designated "at large ".
Board members shall be nominated by the Executive and confirmed by
the County Council.
