3 ORDINANCE NO. 88 -61
4 AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE MATTER OF
5 ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMITS ON
CORDATA PARKWAY AND KELLOGG ROAD

7 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under RCW 46.61.415 to
8 establish speed limits on certain County roads; and
WHEREAS, an engineering study was conducted by the County Engineer's
9 office and reviewed with City of Bellingham Engineering staff.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the speed limits be established as
follows:

12 1) 35 mph on Cordata Parkway from Bellingham City Limits north to Horton .
Road, Sections 12 and 1, Township 38 North, Range 2 East, W.M.
13
2) 35 mph on Kellogg Road from SR 539 west to Allans Road, Section 12,
14 Township 38 North, Range 2 East, N.M.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to post
16 the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington
17 State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code
18 Section 10.04.050.
