AN ORDINANCE TO INCREASE
THE WHATCOM COUNTY PARK AND
RECREATION DEPARTMENT'S PETTY
CASH REVOLVING FUND BALANCE
WHEREAS, since March 17, 1986, the Whatcom County Park and Recrea-
tion Department's petty cash revolving fund balance has been set
at One Thousand Two Hundred dollars ($1,200); and,
WHEREAS, recently the activity in the fund has exceeded the avail-
able balance for expenses such as ferry fees, ski lift tickets,
entrance fees, parking fees, lodging expenses, etc.; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to add an amount of money to the revolv-
ing fund balance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED the Whatcom County Parks and Rec-
reation petty cash revolving fund is increased from $1,200 to
$1,520.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, the Whatcom County Treasurer is hereby
authorized to issue a treasurer's check in the amount of $320 to
bring the available balance up to $1,520.
