ORDINANCE NO. 88 -41
AN ORDINANCE REGARDING THE MATTER OF
ESTABLISHING THE SPEED LIMIT ON A
PORTION OF THE WEST POLE ROAD
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council is authorized under RCW 46.61.415 to
establish speed limits on certain County roads; and
WHEREAS, area residents have requested a speed reduction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the speed limit be established as
follows:
40 mph on West Pole Road from Northwest Drive to a
point 0.5 mi. East of the Aldrich Road, in Sections
10 and 11, Township 39 North, Range 2 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to post
the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff and the Washington
State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
Provisions of this ordinance are hereby added to Whatcom County Code
Section 10.04.060.
