ORDINANCE NO. 88 -35
AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE 1988 PHYSICAL
PLANT AND FACILITIES FUND
WHEREAS, the Bellingham and Whatcom County District Department of
Public Health has requested that Whatcom County provide certain renovations and
remodelling of the County -owned Health facility; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council deems it necessary to remodel the
facility for the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Whatcom County;
land
WHEREAS, the Bellingham and Whatcom County District Department of
Public Health has appropriated $45,000, the City of Bellingham $28,907 and
Whatcom County $25,000 for a combined total of $98,907 for the renovation and
remodelling of the Health facility; and
WHEREAS, Whatcom County has advertised and received bids; and
WHEREAS, said bids are within the total appropriated funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, the 1988 Physical Plant and Facilities
Fund is hereby revised as follows:

338.62.01 Public Health 45,000
338.62.02 City of Bellingham 28,907
Total $98,907

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, Ordinance No. 87 -80 is hereby revised by
increasing the appropriation authority of the Physical Plant and Facilities Fund
therein by $98,907.
