ORDINANCE NO. 88 -32
AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE
1988 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND APPROPRIATION
PUBLIC DEFENDER'S BUDGET THEREIN
WHEREAS, the Public Defender's office has experienced a continuing
6 growth in its caseload; and
7 WHEREAS, this growing caseload can not be managed with existing
staffing levels;

WHEREAS, the County must provide adequate legal defense for those
9 declared indigent;
10 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, the 1988 budget plan for the Public
Defender's office within the Current Expense Fund is hereby
11 revised as follows:
