ORDINANCE NO. 88 -5
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET TO
THE 1988 SEWER CONSTRUCTION FUND FOR ADDITIONAL
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE FERNDALE WASTEWATER TREATMENT
PLANT
WHEREAS, additional resources are necessary to correct a vibration
problem and other minor problems at the Ferndale Wastewater Treatment Plant
(Change Order No. 9); and
WHEREAS, Whatcom County has requested and received approval from the
Department of Ecology to incorporate Change Order No. 9 for grant participation
under contract WFG 83 -020 - Ferndale Wastewater Facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Ferndale is responsible for the Grantor's share o
project costs;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, that the 1988 budget be amended as
follows to increase appropriation authority to expend monies for additional
improvements to the Ferndale Wastewater Treatment Plant.
