ORDINANCE NO. 89 -130
EXTENSION OF OFFICE HOURS ON THURSDAYS
FOR DEPARTMENT OF LICENSING IN AUDITOR'S
OFFICE
WHEREAS, the legislative body of Whatcom County shall
establish the Courthouse hours during which County offices
shall be kept open for business; and
WHEREAS, the Courthouse hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 I
p.m. pursuant to WCC 2.54.010; and,
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Auditor proposes that the
License Department be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every
Thursday except holidays.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that WCC 2.54.010 be
amended to read as follows: The hours during which Whatcom

County offices shall be kept open for the transaction of I
business shall be from eight- thirty a.m. to four- thirty p.m.;
Provided that, the License Department in the Auditor's Office
shall be open on Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
excluding holidays.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance becomes
effective January 1, 1990.
