ORDINANCE NO. 89 -110
ESTABLISHMENT OF A MENTAL
HEALTH CONSUMER /ADVOCATE
REVOLVING FUND
8 WHEREAS, the State Department of Social and Health Services has
9 extended Whatcom County approval for advance grant funding for
10 establishment of a mental health consumer /advocate representation;
11 and
12 WHEREAS, this grant requires advance expenditures from a revolving
13 fund for transportation, printing, conference expenses such as rent
14 and refreshments, and other office supplies costs;
15 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, a mental health consumer/ advocate
16 revolving fund in the amount of $3,960 is hereby established within
17 the Combined Treatment Services Fund. The County Treasurer is
18 authorized to draw a treasurer's check from the fund to set up the
19 revolving checking account. The Director of the Combined Treatment
20 Services Program shall have signature authority to draw upon the
21 revolving account and shall reimburse the account from the Combined
22 Treatment Services Fund with properly documented claims.
23 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, this revolving account shall be terminated
24 at the end of this specific grant or on July 1st, 1990, which ever
25 comes first.
