5 REVISION TO THE 1989
6 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND, NON- DEPARTMENTAL
7 APPROPRIATION FOR AUDIT COSTS
8 WHEREAS, the State Auditor is required to conduct an annual
9 financial audit of the County; and
10 WHEREAS, in 1989 the State Examiner's office has incurred more than
11 the usual work hours in conducting the annual financial audit and
12 will be beginning the 1989 financial audit earlier than in previous
13 years; and
14 WHEREAS, the County and City jointly agreed to utilize the local
15 State Examiner's office to collect the relevant data on the
16 Bellingham- Whatcom County Health District assets; and
17 WHEREAS, the billing invoices have exceeded the available
18 appropriation for 1989;
19 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED the budget plan for the 1989 Current
20 Expense Fund, Non - Departmental appropriation therein is hereby
21 revised as follows:

23 00120 - 291.80.00.0000 Est. Ending Fund Balance $3,500
24 Budget Plan Enhancement:
25 00407 - 514.23.51.0000 Audit Services
$3,500
26 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED ordinance 88 -96 is hereby amended by adding
27 $3,500 in appropriation authority to the Current Expense Fund, Non -
28 Departmental appropriation therein.
