10 AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE 1989 CURRENT
11 EKPMMS;E FUND, MUM .DICNGS AND CODE BUDGET THEREIN

14 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 88 -96 did not provide
15 appropriation authority for extra help within the Current Expense
16 Fund, Buildings and Code budget; and
17
18 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 89 -37 only provided enough
19 appropriation authority for Extra Help to cover a three -month
20 period; and
21
22 WHEREAS, a Plans Examiner, two Land Use Assistants and
23 three Clerical Help persons are needed to keep up with the
24 increased workload and to fill in for positions that have become
25 vacant; and
26
27 WHEflBEAS, due to the increased demand for permits, the
28 two permit clerks will work, on an as- needed basis, approximately
29 four hours a week overtime to process permits, assign addresses,
30 and get permits ready for issuance in a timely manner;

32 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the 1989 Current
33 Expense Fund, Buildings and Code Budget therein, is hereby
34 revised as follows:
