ORDINANCE NO. 89 -69
REVISION TO THE 1989
CURRENT EXPENSE FUND, JAIL
APPROPRIATION THEREIN FOR NURSING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the County jail census has increased and as a result the
number of hours required of the professional nursing support must
be increased; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Health Department has requested the
additional support to adequately care for the inmates; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff has made the request for a supplemental
appropriation in the Jail budget;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, the 1989 Current Expense Fund, Jail
budget plan therein is hereby revised as follows:

00120 - 291.80.00.0000 Est. Ending Fd. Bal. $6,230
Budoet Plan Enhancement:
00180 - 523.60.41.0100 Professional Services $6,230
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, ordinance 88 -96 is hereby amended by adding
$6,230 in appropriation authority to the 1989 Current Expense Fund,
Jail appropriation therein.
