5 REVISION TO THE 1989
6 PUBLIC HEALTH FUND APPROPRIATION
7 FOR IMMUNIZATIONS
8 WHEREAS, the 1989 budget plan for the County Health Department
9 included an assumption for the number and cost of immunizations; and
10 WHEREAS, a public health alert was issued advising the public of the
11 potential for a widespread outbreak of infectious hepatitus
12 (Hepatitus A) which required innoculations of thousands of
13 residents; and,
14 WHEREAS, this has resulted in an unexpected and significant increase
15 in the number of immunizations and their relative cost beyond what
16 was planned when the budget was approved;
17 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED the 1989 budget plan for the Health
18 Department is hereby revised as follows:
