6 CURRENT EXPENSE FUND, NON -
7 DEPARTMENTAL APPROPRIATION THEREIN
8 FOR CONTINGENCY PAYOUT PURPOSES
9 WHEREAS, Whatcom County has unfunded contingent liabilities for
10 employee s•everanc_e payout and excess compensation for pension
1.1 ballooning with the Department of Retirement Systems; and
12 WHEREAS, an appropriation of $40,000 was made for 1989 for these
13 purposes; and
14 WHEREAS, Lije County's obligations will exceed that amount for the
15 entire year;
16 NOW, THEREFORE BE ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council, the
17 Current Expense Fund, Non- departmental budget plan is hereby revised
18 as follows:
