AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 82 -30 FOR THE
6 PURPOSE OF CONSOLIDATING EXISTING PRECINCTS
COLUMBIA, GLACIER AND MAPLE FALLS INTO MAPLE
7 FALLS PRECINCT; CONSOLIDATING PRECINCT DEMING
1 AND LAWRENCE 3 INTO DEMING 1 PRECINCT;
8 CONSOLIDATING CUSTER PRECINCT 3 AND MT. VIEW
PRECINCT 2 INTO CUSTER 3 PRECINCT;
9 CONSOLIDATING BELLINGHAM PRECINCT 13 AND 23
INTO BELLINGHAM PRECINCT 13; CONSOLIDATING
10 BELLINGHAM PRECINCT 53 AND 73 INTO BELLINGHAM

12 WHEREAS, the below -named precincts either have a small
number of registered voters or have boundaries that
13 unnecessarily divide junior taxing entities among more than
one district; and,

WHEREAS, consolidation of the below -named precincts
15 would correct these deficiencies; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that:

Ordinance No. 82 -30 be and hereby is amended so as to
19 consolidate the following existing precincts;
20
21 That the existing precincts Columbia, Glacier and Maple
22 Falls be consolidated into the Maple Falls Precinct;
23
24 That the existing precincts Deming 1 and Lawrence 3 be
25 consolidated into the Deming I Precinct;

That the existing precincts Custer 3 and Mt. View 2 be
consolidated into Custer 3 Precinct;
.That the existing precincts Bellingham 13 and 23 be
consolidated into Bellingham 13 Precinct;
That the existing precincts Bellingham 53 and 73 be
consolidated into Bellingham Precinct 53;
The boundaries of the above precincts shall be
described as in Exhibit "A ".

34; thence West 3/4 of a mile to the N -S centerline of
Section 33; thence South 3/4 mile; thence West approxi-
mately 1/6 mile to the N 1/4 corner of Section 4, T 40N,
R 5E; thence South 1/4 mile; thence West 1/2 mile to the
W line of said Section 4; thence South 4 3/4 miles; thence
West 2 miles; thence South 1 mile; thence East 6 miles to

line of Champion Street; thence East on said centerline to
its intersection with the centerline of Cornwall; thence
North along said centerline to its intersection with the
centerline of Irving Street; thence Northwest along said
centerline to its intersection with the centerline of B
Street; thence Northeast along said centerline to its
intersection with the centerline of Jenkins Street; thence
