5 A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION
6 FOR THE 1989 REAL ESTATE EXCISE
7 TAX FUND FOR EXTENSION OF WATER LINES
8 WHEREAS, the 1989 appropriation for the Real Estate Excise Tax Fund
9 did not provide for the extension of water lines along Kickerville
10 Road to service the industrial sites in the area of Grandview Drive;
11 and
12 WHEREAS, the cash is available for the County's contracted 25% share
13 of the costs to complete the proposed improvements; and
14 WHEREAS, the County has an interest in the economic development of
15 the area;
1.6 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council, the
17 following revision to the 1989 R.E.E.T. Fund budget plan is hereby

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED
by the Whatcom

96 is hereby amended by
adding $82,000
in supplemental authority to

the 1989 R.E.E.T. Fund
appropriation.
The water line improvements

asset will be capitalized
in the Building
Maintenance Fund and any
27
associated service fees
will be billed
from that fund.
