2 AMENDING CHAPTER 2.02 OF THE WHATCOM
3 COUNTY CODE, HAVING TO DO WITH COUNCIL PROCEDURES
4 WHEREAS, the Council has reached a consensus that certain passages of
5 Chapter 2.02 of the Whatcom County Code need to be revised or updated;
6 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County,Councll that
7 Chapter 2.02 of the Whatcom County Code be amended as follows:

27 2.02.090 Introduction of ordinances and resolutions -- Filings
28 All ordinances and resolutions shall be introduced in their entirety in
29 writing. The subject of each ordinance shall be clearly and concisely stated
30 in the title, and no ordinance shall contain more than one subject. Proposed
31 ordinances or qqq resolutions shall'be filed with the clerk of the council and

33 2.02.150 Membership on standing committees.
1 A. There shall be three members of all standing committees,
2 membership to be determined by majority roll call vote of the
3 council. The committee membership shall be responsible for
4 election of a chairpgC§qQ.QQJ.fgr the +r jt§ internal organization.
5 B. The date and time of standing committee meetings shall be
6 determined by the chairperson of such committee and an agenda,
7 including time and place of the meeting, shall be prepared and
8 disseminated at least one day prior to the eemm+ +tee rpggtJgg .
9 The committee meeting agenda shall further be posted conspicuously
10 within the Whatcom County Courthouse.
11 C. The following committees are hereby established:
