ORIGINATOR'S RECOMMENDED ACTION.- Adoption COMMITTEE -ACTION (including dates): a COUNCIL ACTION (including dates): 12- 11.90: Council passed 7 -0 Related File Numbers: Ordinance or Resolution Number.• ORD90 -125 i 1 .ord 11/20/90 SPONSORED BY: consent PROPOSED BY: HEALTH INTRODUCTION DATE: 11 ?:z /gn ORDINANCE NO. 90 -125 AN ORDINANCE REVISING THE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH FEE SCHEDULE WHEREAS, the Health Board Advisory Committee has reviewed the 1991 Health Department Budget; WHEREAS, the solid waste program fees should be revised to provide funding that will cover most of the program costs; WHEREAS, a mechanism has been developed to provide an equitable mechanism for the calculation of municipal solid waste permit fees based on volume of waste received; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the Environmental Health Fee Schedule be revised as follows: CASH REGISTER CODE 12 Permit- General Solid Waste Disposal Site $1,562.00 plus $ 1.80 per ton Base fee payable upon permit issuance.
