When preparing the 1990 budget, it is difficult to anticipate the Jail's population

ORDINANCE NO. 90 -121
REVISION TO THE 1990 CURRENT EXPENSE
FUND, WHATCOM COUNTY JAIL'S BUDGET THEREIN, TO
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Jail had unanticipated expenditures;
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Jail did not have the knowledge of the Jail's
population or needs of the inmates;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, the 1990 Budget for the Whatcom County Jail
is hereby revised as follows:

00120 - 291.80.00.0000 Ending Fund Balance $40,000.00
BUDGET ENHANCEMENT PLAN:
00180 - 523.60.31.0000 Office and Operating Supplies $26,643.00
00180 - 523.60.41.0100 Professional Services 9,215.00
00180 - 523.60.93.0100 County Purchasing - Supplies 4,142.00
TOTAL $40,000.00
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that ordinance 89 -105 is hereby revised by adding
$40,000.00 in appropriation authority to the 1990 Current Expense Fund,
Whatcom County Jail's Budget therein.
