SUMMARY STATEMENT.•
The Sheriff's Office has applied for and received a grant from the Attorney General's
Office for the start up -of a Crimestoppers program in Whatcom County.

ORDINANCE NO. 90 -120
REVISION TO THE 1990 CURRENT EXPENSE
FUND, SHERIFF'S OFFICE BUDGET THEREIN, TO
PROVIDE ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office has received a grant from the Washington
State Attorney General's Office in the amount of $1.3,000.00 for the start
up of the Crimestoppers program;
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office did not have knowledge during the budget process
of this grant;
WHEREAS, the money will be received in 1990 and a one month budget for 1990
will be needed;
WHEREAS, the remainder of the grant money will be used in 1991.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED, the 1990 budget for the Sheriff's Office is
hereby revised as follows:

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, Ordinance 89 -105 is hereby amended by adding
