AN ORDINANCE TO REVISE THE
1990 RIVER IMPROVEMENT FUND BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council approved ordinance 90 -34
authorizing the transfer of $9,500 from the Real Estate Excise Tax Capital Improvement
Fund to the River Improvement Fund to provide needed resources to complete the
County's Comprehensive Flood Control Management Plan, and:
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council approved ordinance 90- 90
(pending) authorizing the transfer of $150,000 from the Current Expense Fund to the
River Improvement Fund to provide needed resources to complete urgent repairs to the
County's river system prior to the 1990 -1991 flood season, and;
WHEREAS, the River Improvement Fund's 1990 budget does not have
sufficient appropriation authority to complete the aforementioned projects;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, the 1990 River Improvement
Fund Budget therein is hereby revised as follows:
