The Senate passed a bill providing additional state funding for the county's criminal justice system. The'county administration has met with affected departments and has determined system -wide 'improvements to utilize this money. To meet the current demands on the system, it is important that these improvements and enhancements occur as soon as possible. The monies to fund these improvements are coming from the State.
