SUMMARY STATEMENT.•
The Fair had an opportunity to purchase some property which was under foreclosure that
was adjacent to the fairgrounds. Also, several construction projects are costing more
than budgeted. This ordinance moves. some money from the ending ./fund balance into
.te Fair's budget to accommodate the financial impact. e

ORDINANCE NO. 90 -74
REVISION TO THE 1990
N.W. WASHINGTON FAIR FUND
APPROPRIATION FOR LAND PURCHASE
AND VARIOUS CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the N.W. Washington Fair has determined
it is in the best interest of the Fair to purchase adjacent property under
foreclosure; and
WHEREAS, several construction projects previously planned in the 1990
budget have ended up costing more than budgeted; and
WHEREAS, the Fair Fund has adequate fund balance to allow for these
unanticipated expenses;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED the Whatcom County Council hereby revises
the 1990 N.W. Washington Fair Fund budget plan as follows:

11200 - 291.80.00.0000 Est. Ending Fund Balance $48,000
BUDGET PLAN REVISIONS
11200 - 573.70.41.0000 Professional Services $15,000
11202 - 573.70.61.0000 Land Acquisition 25,000
11202 - 594.73.63.0000 Other Improvements 8.000
Total Enhancements $48,000
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that ordinance 89 -105 is hereby amended by adding
$48,000 in appropriation authority to the 1990 N.W. Washington Fair Fund
appropriation.
