SUMMARY STATEMENT•
The ordinance (89 -110) pfovided for a sunset date of July -1990 for the Mental
health.'consumer /advocate revolving fund.* The Department of Social and Health
Services has extended the ending date of the fund to July 1991/,, so this ordinance
revises 89 -110 to officially extend the date'in county.law.

REVISION TO ORDINANCE
89 -110, EXTENDING THE
SUNSET DATE FOR ESTABLISHED FUND
WHEREAS, Ordinance 89 -110 established the Mental Health Consumer /Advocate
Revolving Fund; and
WHEREAS, that ordinance provided for a sunset date of July of 1990 for the
fund; and
WHEREAS, Whatcom County has received verbal permission from DSHS to
continue the fund for the established purposes until July of 1991;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED the Whatcom County Council hereby amends
ordinance 89 -110 by extending the sunset date for the Mental Health
Consumer /Advocate Revolving Fund until the revolving account is terminated by
State grant authority ending or July of 1991, which ever comes first.
ADOPTED this 24th day of July , 1990.
